The LAB is a place where we experiment with both new and old ideas that will lead us toward fresh discoveries and applications. The LAB is a place where we leverage the power of collaboration by acknowledging what we don’t know and embracing the challenge of learning together. The LAB is a place for people who want to grow deeper in their discipleship of Jesus and who want their lives and ministries to be marked by the development of deep disciples. In the LAB we will begin to tackle together the discipleship and leadership development crisis that is facing the church. As part of each LAB, we will eat lunch together to further foster community and relationship with those of us who are longing for a deeper discipleship. The LAB is for church staff and lay leaders who long for more.
LAB 1 – Crisis/Connection
In the first LAB we will begin to talk about the crisis of discipleship that is facing all of us. We will set the stage for what it looks like to be a deep disciple of Jesus and how we can facilitate growing deep disciples of Jesus. We will then learn together a prayer practice that can help each of us connect with Jesus in a deeper way.
